FULL TIME WORKSHOP:

"For those who would like to make a career out of photography"

This is an intense, hands on, in-house training workshop with supervised on location photoshoots. The workshop is done over 20 days (6 hours per day) with assignments to be done.

Workshop fee is R15 125.00 incl VAT (50% with booking)

(Training is done in a fully equipped photographic studio)

MODULE 1: (basics of photography)

History, equipment, exposure, aperture, shutter, lenses, filters.

MODULE 2: (working with available light)

Light sources, long exposures, freezing movement, creating movement, night photography, painting with light, backlighting, bouncing, mixing and layers of light.

MODULE 3: (working with light from a flash )

Direct, bouncing, mixing and fill-in flash. Backflashing, slow sync, strobe and painting with flash.

MODULE 4: (working with studio lights)

Equipment, workings of the studio flash and set-up's.

MODULE 5: (how to create images)

Composition, fine art, creative photography.

MODULE 6: (projects)

Portraits, weddings, landscape, transport, products, stillife, macro, fashion, glamour, architectural.

MODULE 7: (digital)

Basic's, menu, crop, re-size, cut & paste, layers, eraser, colour ajustments.

MODULE 8: (running a photography business)

Planning, marketing, invoices, forms, portfolio.

REQUIREMENTS:
SLR digital camera with manual functions
Lenses (18mm to 200mm)
Flash
Tripod

INCLUDED IN COURSE:
All notes in full colour, learning CD's, access to studio.

NOT INCLUDED IN COURSE:
Traveling to locations, food, accomodation, model fees, printing and material for building props.
